The West Suffolk Fine Wine Society was formed following an informal gathering of contacts and friends in 1995. The idea was to organise occasional tastings, where the atmosphere and conduct of meetings would be one of enjoyment, rather than a studious examination or analysis of wines.

In the intervening years, the basic idea has remained unchanged, although the organisation has been formalised in a Constitution introduced in 2015. Regular tastings continue but there are other events, often involving food with wine. Full details of forthcoming events are in our Newsletters.
